Apologies for the radio silence over the past few days. Basically we were rendered temporarily homeless following the recent catastrophic ice storm. We were, however, comfortably accommodated and revelled in the joys of 'motel life'....dodgy wifi, endless cable tv news and Mountain Dew for breakfast, for a few days. This was no hardship because Motel 6 is practically my second home BUT the dodgy wifi made keeping AC up to date a tad awkward. We will be restoring normal service today. Meanwhile I have included a pic of myself negotiating the 'bathroom level' of the AmeriCymru ice cave. At the time we were attempting to restore partial power by selectively switching circuits off and on to bypass the short which was causing random fluctuations, lights dimming and brightening etc, all around the house. We failed for the very good reason that we know damn all about electricity . So we packed up and shipped out. I must admit I felt instantly at home walking around in darkened corridors with a lamp on my head. Must be some kind of ancestral memory, genetic perhaps?
